The one-year Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, provides superb subspecialty radiology training while you work closely with experts in musculoskeletal radiology.

The program delivers a detailed learning experience that enables fellows to become highly proficient at musculoskeletal imaging.

This fellowship teaches you how to protocol, perform, and interpret studies and procedures at a subspecialty level, preparing you to bring musculoskeletal imaging expertise to either an academic setting or a specialty private practice.

The Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship includes experience in musculoskeletal radiographs, CT, MRI, and ultrasound. Interventional musculoskeletal experience includes:

• Peripheral joint procedures, such as injection, aspiration, and arthrography
• Optional spine intervention, such as epidural steroid injection, facet injection, and sacroiliac joint injection

Program history

The Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Rochester began in 1992. We anticipate that up to four trainees will complete this program each year.
